About the Journal
The RKGP Journal of Food Science (RKGP-JFS) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in food science and technology. It publishes original research articles that explore the fundamental sciences underpinning the development and management of food resources. Committed to promoting scientific innovation, the journal releases four issues annually (quarterly), providing a platform for emerging research in the field.
RKGP-JFS covers several key aspects in this field by including research on topics like food processing, food management, food packaging and preservation etc. The journal offers peer-reviewed articles on the different areas of food science including food chemistry, food analysis, food technology, food engineering, food microbiology etc. Its editorial mission focuses on the development and management food. The Journal particularly welcomes contributions from the specialists in the field of nutrition etc.
The journal encourages advancements in the areas not limited to the one mentioned above in the form of research articles, reviews, commentaries, case studies and letters to the editors. Manuscripts that are thoroughly peer reviewed are published to promote the best standards in the industry. The Editor’s decision to publish a paper in accordance with referee(s) opinion is considered final.
The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. All articles are peer-reviewed. Our objective is to inform authors of the decision on their manuscript(s) within four weeks of submission. Following acceptance, a paper will normally be published in the next issue. Papers will be published approximately one month after acceptance.

Open Access
RKGP-JFS is an open access journal. Abstracts and full texts of all articles published in the journals can be read online without any form of restriction.

RKGP-JFS articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International License. Readers can copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work provided the original work and source is appropriately cited.
Copyright
Submission of a manuscript implies that authors have met the requirements of the editorial policy and publication ethics. Authors retain the copyright of their articles published in the journal. However, authors agree that their articles remain permanently open access under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International License.
Manuscript Handling Fee
The manuscript handling fee for RKGP-JFS is $350 (USD). Under some special circumstances, authors may request in advance for publication fee support.
