Publication Fee Support
RKGP Journals recognizes that financial constraints should not hinder authors from publishing in Open Access journals. To facilitate inclusive participation, the journals may offer Publication Fee Support (PFS) in the form of partial or full fee waivers to authors who are unable to cover publication costs.
PFS is intended for authors who can demonstrate financial need. Corresponding authors requesting support must provide a clear and compelling justification for their application.
Partial waivers are available for authors affiliated with institutions in eligible low- and middle-income countries. Upon application, corresponding authors from Low-Income Countries may receive a high-percentage waiver, those from Lower-Middle-Income Countries a medium-percentage waiver, and authors from Upper-Middle-Income Countries a low-percentage waiver, according to the World Bank classification of countries.
Eligible authors are advised to submit their PFS applications immediately following manuscript submission. Applications should be sent on the same day as submission to the Author Billing Department via accounts@rkgpjournals.org.
PFS Application Procedure
To ensure proper consideration, authors requesting fee support must adhere to the following process:
- Clearly justify the need for publication fee support.
- Submit the PFS request on the same day the manuscript is submitted.
- Include the following information in the request:
- Manuscript number
- Manuscript title
- Corresponding author’s full affiliation and country
- List of co-authors with their respective affiliations and countries
- Detailed reasons for requesting PFS
Decisions regarding PFS applications will be communicated to the corresponding author within two weeks of receipt. RKGP Journals reserves the right to approve or deny any application at its discretion.
