About the Journal
RKGP Journal of Surgery and Anaesthesia (RKGP-JSA) is an international open access peer reviewed publication that discusses current research and publishes articles based on original research advancements on the use of medical treatment that prevent patients from feeling pain (anaesthesia) during surgery procedure. The Journal intends to promote scientific investigations by publishing constantly emerging original research in the field of medicine and surgery as well as anaesthesia technology.
RKGP-JSA covers several key aspects in this field by including research on topics like pain management, allergy, intensive care medicine, pre-operative and post-operative management, mechanical ventilation and other related areas. The Journal offers peer-reviewed articles with subject areas on different anaesthetic agent such as intravenous anaesthetic (IV), inhalational anaesthetic, IV sedative, synthetic opioids etc. Its editorial mission focuses on the different types of anaesthesia including general anaesthesia, IV/monitored sedation, regional anaesthesia and local anaesthesia. Contributions from the specialists in the field of anaesthesiology as well as medicine and surgery are particularly welcomed.
The Journal encourages advancements in the areas not limited to the one mentioned above in the form of research articles, reviews, commentaries, case studies and letters to the editors. Manuscripts that are thoroughly peer reviewed are published to promote the best standards in the industry. The Editor’s decision to publish a paper in accordance with referee(s) opinion is considered final.
The submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence is welcomed by the Journal. All articles are peer-reviewed. Our objective is to inform authors of the decision on their manuscript(s) within four weeks of submission. Following acceptance, a paper will normally be published in the next issue. Papers will be published approximately one month after acceptance.

Critical reviews, surveys, opinions, commentaries and essays.
Open Access
RKGP-JSA is an open access journal. Abstracts and full texts of all articles published in the journals can be read online without any form of restriction.

RKGP-JSA articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International License. Readers can copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work provided the original work and source is appropriately cited.
Copyright
Submission of a manuscript implies that authors have met the requirements of the editorial policy and publication ethics. Authors retain the copyright of their articles published in the journal. However, authors agree that their articles remain permanently open access under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International License.
Manuscript Handling Fee
The manuscript handling fee for RKGP-JSA is $450 (USD). Under some special circumstances, authors may request in advance for publication fee support.
