About the Journal
RKGP Journal of Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery (RKGP-JDCS) is an international open access peer reviewed publication that discusses current research and publishes articles based on original research advancements on treatment of common skin problem such as acne, melanoma, basal cell carcinoma etc. The journal intends to promote scientific investigations by publishing constantly emerging original research in the field of dermatopathology, paediatric dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology.
RKGP-JDCS covers several key aspects in this field by including research on topics like melanoma biology, cutaneous oncology, biology of aging, ethnic skin disease, wound healing etc. The journal offers peer-reviewed articles with subject areas including skin disease, aging, facial surface anatomy etc. Its editorial mission focuses on the prevention and cure of skin problem which include anti-aging strategies, facial blood vessels and their relevance, danger zone in the face etc. The Journal particularly welcomes contributions from the specialists in the Immunodermatology, micrograhically oriented histographic (MOH) surgery, dermatopathology, cosmetic dermatology and other related areas.
The journal encourages advancements in the areas not limited to the one mentioned above in the form of research articles, reviews, commentaries, case studies and letters to the editors. Manuscripts that are thoroughly peer reviewed are published to promote the best standards in the industry. The Editor’s decision to publish a paper in accordance with referee(s) opinion is considered final.
The submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence is welcomed by the Journal. All articles are peer-reviewed. Our objective is to inform authors of the decision on their manuscript(s) within four weeks of submission. Following acceptance, a paper will normally be published in the next issue. Papers will be published approximately one month after acceptance.

Open Access
RKGP-JDCS is an open access journal. Abstracts and full texts of all articles published in the journals can be read online without any form of restriction.

RKGP-JDCS articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International License. Readers can copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work provided the original work and source is appropriately cited.
Copyright
Submission of a manuscript implies that authors have met the requirements of the editorial policy and publication ethics. Authors retain the copyright of their articles published in the journal. However, authors agree that their articles remain permanently open access under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International License.
Manuscript Handling Fee
The manuscript handling fee for RKGP-JDCS is $450 (USD). Under some special circumstances, authors may request in advance for publication fee support.
